Lumps, bumps, and abnormal appearances of the mucosa (cheeks, tongue, palate, gum, lips) of the mouth or jaws often may require investigation by our Oral Medicine specialist or surgeons. Sometimes a biopsy may be required to determine the cause of these lesions in order for us to appropriately treat and manage the issue.
